Wrapped Ginger – Removes Mucus From Your Lungs In One Night And Cures Bad Cough

Everyone knows how difficult coughs are, especially for children due to their developing immune system. A cough can leave your child with sleepless nights and even those awful cough syrups won’t help. People chug down these syrups like they’re nothing, but they have so many side-effects and can easily worsen your condition.

The most common side-effects of cough syrups are drowsiness, headaches, insomnia and migraines. They usually contain codeine and dextromethorphan, two dangerous ingredients which have been related to a slew of health problems. Luckily, you don’t need cough syrup to defeat your or your child’s coughs. There are many natural remedies that can soothe a cough without the fear of adverse side-effects. Here’s a recipe for simple ginger wraps that will do wonders for your cough in just a short time:

Ingredients
  • Olive oil
  • Honey
  • 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
  • Flour
  • Napkins
  • Gauze
  • Adhesive tape
Instructions

Start by mixing the flour and honey, then add the olive oil while stirring. Add the ginger in the end and mix well until you get a homogenous mass. Put the mixture on a napkin, then wrap it nicely with some gauze. Put the wrap on your or your child’s chest, then secure with the tape.

If you’re an adult, you can keep the wrap on overnight. If you’re using it on your child, leave it to work for only a few hours. The wrap will make you sweat excessively, so make sure to have a pair of dry pajamas at hand. In the morning, remove the wrap and take a shower and you should be feeling much better already.
